After hours and roadside

A tyre going down does not wait for Monday.

What we do

A tyre shop with a workshop behind it.

Most of what comes through the door is tyres. Plenty of it is not. Because the mechanical side is here too, a car in for a set of tyres can have its pink slip done in the same visit instead of being booked in twice.

New tyres, fitted

Supply and fitting across the range we stock, from a single replacement to a full set. Tell us what the vehicle does and we'll tell you what suits it.

Punctures and flats

Repaired where a repair is the right answer. If a rim is the actual problem we'll find that too, rather than fitting a new tyre onto a slow leak.

Wheel alignments

Pulls to one side, uneven wear across the tread, a steering wheel sitting off centre. Alignment sorts it and makes the tyres you just bought last.

Balancing and rotation

Balancing for the vibration through the wheel at highway speed, and rotation to even out wear so the set wears down together.

Pink slips and safety checks

An authorised inspection station on the NSW register, for eSafety checks and safety inspections on light vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes.

General mechanical work

Repairs and general workshop jobs alongside the tyre side, so a car in for tyres does not need a second trip somewhere else.

What we fit

Eleven kinds of vehicle, one workshop.

A hatchback in the morning and a truck after lunch. The gear on site covers the small stuff and the heavy stuff, which in a district like this one matters, because the nearest alternative is usually an hour away.

Authorised inspection station

In the local paper

"One kind family suggested we contact Aaron Kemp, who promptly came to our rescue and over a couple of hours sourced parts, opened workshops and somehow got us back on the road."

From a letter to the editor of the local paper, written by a family two days into a four week trip when a wheel came off their caravan on the main road through town on Father's Day. Nobody was hurt. They finished the letter thanking Aaron for being, in their words, a genuinely good guy.

Amazing service! 2nd January we were stopped in front of their business. Caleb came over to see if we needed help (they were closed). He called his boss who came to help. Ended up with new battery. We are so grateful for their help. Highly recommend this business.

Aaron and Amy

A long standing Cootamundra workshop, under new hands since 2023.

The workshop at 38 Parker Street has been fixing tyres in this town for a long time. Aaron and Amy took it on in 2023 and run it themselves, with a crew you will recognise the second time you come in.

What has not changed is the way it works. Somebody looks at the vehicle, tells you what it needs, gives you a price before starting, and gets on with it. One reviewer put it better than we could: nothing is ever too hard.
